High Planes Annual Board Meeting 7/1/2001 Minutes

Meeting was held at Centennial Airport in Littleton, CO, at
the Holiday Inn restaurant. Attending
were Paul Vanderveen and Glenn Pearson
Meeting called to order.
Motion to unanimously appoint the following positions was
made, seconded, and approved 2-0.

- Maintenance
Officer – Paul
- Secretary
– Glenn
- Treasurer
– Glenn
Question raised as to whether we needed to call out a
Charman of the Board (as a separate position from board member). Another question was whether email sufficed
for official High Planes notification.
We decided that it woud suffice.
Bylaws were reviewed and recommendations made.
The following operating practices were approved:
- Minimum
number of shares for new members:
3400 (makes ownership equitable)
- Monthly
dues: $550 / number of members
- Hourly
rate: $36/hour
Aircraft Report
- Step
does not function smoothly (doesn’t come down like it should)
- All
items fixed to date seem to work correctly
- Transponder
has an intermittent problem
Financial Report
- Need
to file sales tax for airplane purchase
- Annual
due in December
- Registration
still due
Upgrades
- Perhaps
do upgrades at same time as annual
- Folding
bicycle on board
- Wheel
chocks
- Tie
downs
Maintenance Items
- Washing
the airplane – check with FBO like Air West
- Some
portion of maintenance can be done by Maintenance Officer
- Look
into reimbursing for work effort
Miscellaneous
- Do not
actively pursue new membership at the current time (in order to allow us
to get comfortable with and gain experience in owing and operating an
aircraft)
- Look
into reservations via the web site
