The Maule M4/M5 Series "Rocket" and "Lunar Rocket" is a bargain in the aviation market. The Maules are typically powered by 180-250HP engines. They are no-frills tail-draggers that offer good performance at a low price. As a bush plane, it is by its nature suited for short fields and mountainous terrain. It is, however, rather short-legged, and some might object to its' spartan accomodations and tube and fabric construction.
